In 2006, Dancing Classrooms began expanding throughout the US and internationally, bringing our unique approach to dance instruction to arts organizations serving their local communities. To date, the Dancing Classrooms Network has brought the power of social dance to over 700,000 young people world-wide.

Each year teaching artists, classroom teachers, and dance educators across the country are trained through the Dancing Classrooms Institute in how to deliver our powerful social emotional and dance learning. Today, in addition to our work in the NYC metro area, Dancing Classrooms programs are delivered through a National Network of nonprofit organizations and educators, furthering our vision of a world that values social dance as foundational to every child’s well-being and joy, celebrates the beauty of diversity, and amplifies our shared humanity.
