Dancing Classrooms Spring Luncheon & Panel Discussion

Join us for a spring luncheon and panel discussion moderated by Karen Akers on Wednesday, June 12th at the Astor House, a beautiful townhouse on the upper east side.

Karen Akers, one of the most illustrious concert and cabaret entertainers working today, has performed throughout the United States (including three White House performances), Europe and the former Soviet Union. In addition to television and film performances, Karen appeared on Broadway as one of the original stars of the Tony Award-winning musical "GRAND HOTEL," directed by Tommy Tune. She made her debut on the Great White Way in 1982 in "NINE,” for which she won a Theatre World Award as well as receiving a Tony Award nomination. Karen is a long-time friend and supporter of Dancing Classrooms.

Karen Akers will lead the panelists comprised of alumni, a Teaching Artist, a parent ambassador, and a school representative to provide friendly insight on the impact of the Dancing Classrooms program.

This is a fundraiser to benefit Dancing Classrooms, Creating Connections, Inspiring Confidence One Step at a Time.

 It is encouraged to register early due to limited seating.

Early ticket pricing of $200 will end on May 22nd. Tickets will increase to $250 on May 23rd.
