Join us for a spring luncheon and panel discussion moderated by Karen Akers on Wednesday, June 12th at the Astor House, a beautiful townhouse on the upper east side.

Karen Akers, one of the most illustrious concert and cabaret entertainers working today, has performed throughout the United States (including three White House performances), Europe and the former Soviet Union. In addition to television and film performances, Karen appeared on Broadway as one of the original stars of the Tony Award-winning musical “GRAND HOTEL,” directed by Tommy Tune. She made her debut on the Great White Way in 1982 in “NINE,” for which she won a Theatre World Award as well as receiving a Tony Award nomination. Karen is a long-time friend and supporter of Dancing Classrooms.
